I just found out that apparently the "Join documents" feature does not copy the form fields (at least in the trial version). This is a game killer for me.

I have a similar issue with Presentations Autoshapes. I use Autoshapes a lot in slide animations, and for the most part SoftMaker does a pretty decent job when presented in PowerPoint Viewer. However, it appears that the vectors for Autoshapes lines and arrows get scrambled when using PowerPoint ...

Top Reasons for using SoftMaker over MS Office - for me - are:
1. Tabbed windows (rather than opening a whole new window for each document)
2. REAL outline processing capability! Outline processors are great thinking/writing tools - built into the WP is heaven for me.
