Re: re-sorting - organizing - a scanned document

Thank you for your response here. I see what you are doing, and I can mimic that on my system. Is there any way to manually resize the thumbnails so as to get many more on the screen? For example I might have a 25 page document, double sided, which scans to 50 pages, with the order reversed. I want ...

re-sorting - organizing - a scanned document

I have documents which have been scanned in two batches - double sided originals but I don't have a duplex scanner so I have fronts and backs. I now need to reorganize the pages in numerical order. Can anyone offer me an algorithm for this? In acrobat I use the thumbnail pane in which I can drag pag...

Re: New Instance For Each Opened PDF File

If I am not mistaken the 'open documents in tabs' option is incomplete. I think if one uses the "file -> open" route then they open in tabs. But insofar as I can see otherwise document open in separate instances of the program - which on a slower computer (eg my laptop) can be quite inconv...

Re: Scroll by full page

I had Galileo's question too. It would be much easier to have a scroll by page option. Using mouse settings is "functional" but very inconvenient as it then applies to everything which is often not useful. Even withing Flexipdf it would be helpful if one could have the option of scrolling ...

Re: classic menus vs ribbon

Thanks.

It would be a suggestion I would offer to satisfy luddites such as myself who haven't fallen into the ribbon.

I'll get used to the minimized ribbon I expect. It's not a disaster.

classic menus vs ribbon

Is there any way to use classic menus in FlexiPDF?

I can minimize the ribbon, but it's dropdown is do dreadfully inefficient in the use of space. Classic menus with simple dropdowns would be much more efficient I feel.

Re: selecting text

Well, it is amazing what a good night's sleep will do.

Today it is working as you both describe. However I swear I was sober and not hallucinating and it wasn't seeming to work yesterday.

Oh well, for me a problem resolved but not solved!

Thanks for your feedback. :)

selecting text

I'm having difficutly selecting text in a document - a part of a sentence - that I want to copy and quote as part of a review. In Acrobat one has a text tool (a funny vertical bar rather like an I) which one places at the beginning of the chosen text and drags over to the end of the part one wants t...

sorting with thumbnails

I have a multipage document that I need to resort many of the pages. Drag and drop is the necessary solution. The thumbnails sidebar has only a single long column of thumbnails. It would be better if the thumbnails were in multiple columns filling up the available space (the way I see it in Acrobat)...

Megafont upgrade

Perhaps this is too minor a quibble but one may as well talk. I see the new Font Manager (and a previous request for a font manager - fufilled and Well Done!) and thought it might be worthwhile upgrading my MegaFont NEXT to the current generation. However I think the upgrade price really doesn't mak...
