This problem was built in Planmaker 2018 and i can't seem to remember how to fix it.
On a sheet, i have a column containing 20 rows of company names. On another column I have a cell and want to select from the list in the first column. The problem is i can't remember what function to use to accomplish it.
Can someone help?
Thanks
Building a list to select from/
Re: Building a list to select from/
It's not exactly a function.
From the ribbon menu, use the ribbon command Insert | group Objects | Form object | Dropdown to insert a dropdown list. (If you use the Classic menu, it's Object > New form object > Dropdown.)
That creates an empty drop-down. Now right-click on the cell where you placed the drop-down, then click Form object: Properties. In the dialogue box that opens, you can enter the cell range containing the choices you want to appear in the drop-down list, and the cell where you want the selection to be posted.
