I have installed FreeOffice and FreePDF to see if they are better than MSOffice 365. However I cannot see the shortcuts on my wife's user account screen. How do I get FreeOffice and FreePDF to appear on her desktop?
Re: Other User Account
When you installed the programs, did you install for "this user" or for "all users"?
If you installed for all users, are the programs in your wife's Start menu? FreePDF should have its own entry in the Start menu, and there should be another entry for FreeOffice, which should then open to icons for TextMaker, PlanMaker, and Presentations. If you have the icons in the Start menu, you can simply click and drag each one to the desktop.

Thank you for that instruction. All good now, Icons are on desktop for my wife to access.
