Presales question: Softmaker resolution on KDE 6 wayland - Arch

Post by Mialamar »

Hello,

I've been using Softmaker at a friends house and I would like to buy a license. My laptop has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 that is scaled to 150 %.
Planmaker ignores the 150 % and shows everything in 2560 x 1440 which makes it unreadable for me. The system is configured by my brother so I'm out of my depth but it runs Arch with KDE 6 in Wayland. Is there anything I can do to solve this or should I stick with Libreoffice?

Thanks,

Mia

Scaling on Wayland is unreliable at best. SMO offers its own scaling setting. Look for it under Options => Appearance => User interface size
