Where is the web fonts directory?

Post by archibald.smythe »

Edit: my remaining question is simply this → where can I find megafontnow_standard.css (referenced from webfont_readme.pdf)? I can't seem to find it in the zip archives I've downloaded.

Original question, now solved...

I'm probably not seeing the forest for the trees, so apologies in advance ... but anyway: I took advantage of a recent sale to buy MegaFont NOW. In webfont_readme.pdf it states that:
  • The Fonts folder contains standard TrueType fonts that you may install on
your PC, but never on your website.
  • The WebFonts folder contains subfolders with versions of the fonts that
can be uploaded to your web server for use as webfonts.
I don't actually see the "WebFonts" folder, though. The structure of the extracted archive instead looks like this:
  • fonts/
  • smsys/
  • fontman.exe
  • tags.txt
  • webfont_liesmich.pdf
  • webfont_readme.pdf
I'm a Linux user, so perhaps the problem is I would need to execute fontman.exe to generate the WebFonts folder, or something like that?

OK, ignore me, I'm an idiot who can't read.

(Two different zip archives are available for download, one of which provides the webfonts.)

So what I am struggling to locate is megafontnow_standard.css (referenced from webfont_readme.pdf). Should I find a copy of this somewhere? Where? (Thanks!)
