How do we paste text only, no formatting?

To paste text only you should use ribbon Home command Paste>Paste unformatted text. Another option is to use shortcut key Alt+Ctrl+V for paste special dialogue where you can select to paste unformatted text.

Thank you. There are no alt and ctrl keys on a Mac.

Well, my Apple keyboard has an alt as well as a ctrl key.

The Alt key on the Mac is also called Option and you can find it next to the Command key.

Great feature! I use it every day, especially when transferring text from the internet to documents.

Thank you for the help! I didn't know such a keyboard shortcut existed. Now I can paste text without formatting more easily.

On Mac, I use the Command+Shift+V shortcut to paste without formatting. Maybe it's worth adding this to the instructions?
