The addition of “tables within tables” in SoftMaker Office 2018 is excellent, since it allows users to essentially create and use flat file lists very efficiently. In using “tables within tables” I’ve noticed one problem. When creating a new row (record), formulas are not inherited in the new row (record). For example, a field (column) creating a full name based on a concatenation of two other fields (columns), such as “=First Name & ” ” & Last Name” is nothing more than a blank field in a new record. The work around is to copy or fill down any formulas from an existing record (row). If my description of the issue is correct and I haven’t missed something, then I suggest the inheritance of formulas be made automatic as part of the “tables within tables” environment.

Tables Within Tables
Re: Tables Within Tables
this works in MS Excel but not in PlanMaker. Formulas are not automatically inserted in new rows when you extend a table. I will refer this as a suggestion to the product management.

a) Click the last cell of the table and press Tab.
b) Right-click the last row and select "Insert row below."
c) Hover over the bottom-right corner of the table until a line with two arrows appears, then click and drag to expand the table.
but there is one method of inserting new rows that will work:
d) Click the bottom-right cell, hover over the bottom-right corner until a white plus icon appears, then click, drag, and release to add new rows.
A video demonstrating the working method is attached.

Implementing a-c so they transfer formulas is on the wishlist.
